The Boy's Varsity team welcomed Cheboygan to Boyne Mountain on September 12. The game kicked off at 11 o'clock on a rainy day. The Boy's looked to continue the small winning streak they have put together. The Boy's came in with a record of 5-4. 

The Ramblers started the game with good offensive pressure and it never really relented. The Ramblers jumped on the scoreboard just eight minutes into the game. Isaac Shiers found the back of the net to put the Ramblers up 1-0. At the 15 minute mark, the Ramblers were award a penalty kick and Phillip Banner did not waste it. Banner's goal put the Ramblers up 2-0. At the 28 minute mark, Amayo Bardeguez- Barrera put one past the Cheboygan keeper, off of an assist from Isaac Shiers and Phillip Banner. The Ramblers would take a 3-0 lead into halftime. 

In the second half, the Ramblers kept the pressure up and found the net two more times. This time both of the goals were scored by Nicolas Santina, one of an assist from Phillip Banner. The second goal was a long blast from just inside mid field. The Ramblers would win a chippy game over Cheboygan 5-0. Jay Clawson would stop all four shots he faced, posting another shut out. 

The Boy's will travel to Kalkaska on Monday, Sept. 14, set for a 5 o'clock kick off. The win moves the Ramblers to 6-4 on the season overall, 2-0 in conference.
