7th Grade Girls Basketball hit the courts last night for their first home game of the year. They got off to a slow start and ended the first half down 9-10 against a very aggressive Charlevoix Rayders Defense. Coming out the second half they stepped up their own defense and held the Rayders to only 6 points the second half. Their defensive effort was also rewarded with a slew of points off turnovers. The girls finished the game with a 23-16 victory! They look to face a tough East Jordan Red Devils team at home tomorrow. Great Job Ladies!!

The Ramblers came away with another victory last night against Charlevoix. The final score was 23-14. The girls played great and worked hard. Scoring for Boyne was Braydin Noble with 8, Elly Wilcox with 5, Jacky Dunlap and Kayden Elzinga each had 4, and Ava Snyder added 2.
