Boys Results

Warm weather and more personal records were the norm last night as the Boy's Varsity Track team finished 8th out of 15 teams at Kalkaska. 20 new personal or season records were turned in last night with only 9 boys competing for the Ramblers. 

Jackson Menard led the way with a 1st place finish in the 110m and 300m hurdles, Brayton Ager took 2nd in the Discus and 4th in Shot Put, Gavin Carson cut 6 seconds off his best 800m time and finished 6th, Jayden Hang also finished 6th in the 100m dash. Corbin Smith and Jacob Gardner came back from long layoffs to set new marks in their races as well. our next meet will be Regionals at East Jordan this Saturday.

Girls Results

The Girl's Track team finished 6th out of 15 teams at the Kalkaska Invitational.  Sydney Veryser vaulted to her season-best height of 8' 9" winning the Pole Vault.  She ran a personal record time to place 3rd in the 300m hurdles and she was the leadoff runner in our 4x100 Relay with Grace Dawson, Maddie Mathews, and Sam Burke which finished 2nd.  Grace Dawson won the High Jump tying her personal record height of 4' 10".  Keni Ciesielski placed 3rd in the High Jump with her personal record height of 4' 8". Altogether, the team set 4 Personal Records and a Season record.  Sam Burke and Sora Ostrander set Personal Records in the Shot Put.  Sora also set a Personal Record in the Discus.

The team competes in the Regional Championship in East Jordan on Saturday.
