In a lightning shortened district game, Nic Santina gets the win and clean sheet in goal. Boyne City and Harbor Springs played only the first half after waiting close to an hour resume play after storms called a halt to the action. Goals in the first half were scored by Neels Ronnau on a solo effort 9 minutes into the game. Phillip Banner (assist Daniel Gallo) scored the second goal in the 12th minute after some nice build up play and possession from BC. Boyne City recorded 11 shots on goal through the 40 minute long contest. Solid play from all involved tonight - defense holding Harbor to no attempts on goal, midfield good in possession and creative play and the striker group making runs and getting attempts on goal.

Boyne City is back in action on Saturday at 10am in Kalkaska in the district final against the winner of Elk Rapids/Grayling.
