The Boy's Varsity Soccer team welcomed the Grayling Vikings into town at the Boyne Mountain soccer field on Thursday September 24. The Boy's came in with a record of 8-4-1 overall, 4-0-1 in the Lake Michigan Conference. The Ramblers were coming off a tie but had put together eight games straight without a loss. They were looking to continue that streak against Grayling. 

The game would be back and forth until late in the first half. That is when some miscommunication on defense allowed Grayling to find the back of the net. That was the first goal the Ramblers had allowed since their game against the Vikings earlier in the month. The Vikings would hold the 1-0  lead at halftime. The Ramblers who dominated control for a vast majority of the game, finally found they luck they needed to tie the game. As Phillip Banner was able to score off a rebound from a Nic Santina free kick. Santina would pick up the assist on the goal. That would even the score at 1-1 a piece. The game would end in a 1-1 draw even though there were great chances on both ends to add to the total. Jay Clausen would have three saves on four shots on net. The tie moves the Ramblers to 8-4-2 on the season. They will be back in action on Monday, September 28 at Harbor Springs. The game will start at 5 o'clock.
