Jay Clausen kept the clean sheet in goal, taking zero shots and handling the ball three times. Boyne City maintained possession throughout, notching 16 shots on target in the contest. Nic Santina (assist Ben Leaman) started the scoring with 14 minutes left in the first half with a nice layoff play. Isaac Shiers (unassisted) scored a solo effort 10 minutes before halftime making the score 2-0. Isaac Shiers (unassisted) scored his second of the game 3 minutes into the 2nd half. Scoring was completed 20 minutes from time when Anders Foltz (assist Nic Santina) slotted home in the bottom corner to make the score 4-0.
