Boyne City continued their winning streak beating visiting Kalkaska Blazers in three sets to stay perfect in conference.  Set one started out with each team getting back-to-back points but after a 7 point serving run from Jillian Cain, the Ramblers pulled away and ended up taking the set 25-11. Set two started out very similar as set one with back to back points with both teams getting some really good rallies, but the Ramblers couldn’t figure out a way to get a lead and keep it always letting Kalkaska back in. Relying on their scrappy defense, Kalkaska was not allowing Boyne’s powerful offense to find many holes but the Ramblers were ultimately able to pull out the set two win 25-22. Set three started out all Kalkaska, they were not wanting to go out winless on the night but the Ramblers were able to pull together some great rallies and crucial points and took set three 25-23.  - Coach Slate
