From Coach Slate:

For the second night in a row Boyne City welcomes three teams into the Wheelhouse, tonight it was Ellsworth, Cedarville & Jo Burg. The Ramblers came out on top sweeping the competition giving them an 11-4 record going into the holiday weekend. 

Up first for the Ramblers was Ellsworth who just couldn’t match any part of Boyne’s offense or defense. The first set went Boyne’s way with a score of 25-6. Coming out with a completely different line up didn’t hinder the Ramblers ability to take set two eventually finishing it 25-10.

Next for the Lady Ramblers was Cedarville who the girls will see at the end of the year for there last post season game. Cedarville started out strong with a few great hits from their middle hitter which got the Ramblers defense a bit frustrated but after a few adjustments Boyne was able to take set one 25-14. Set two again Boyne switched up a few things with their line up and were still able to come out victorious with a 25-20 win.

Last game of the night was with Jo-Burg who Boyne had just met last week and beat in 2 sets. Tonight was much the same. The Ramblers offense and strong serving was too much for the cardinals to handle with Boyne taking both sets 25-17 & 25-21.
