The JV Girls basketball team traveled to Kalkaska high school to take on the Blue Blazers. The game tipped off at 5:30. The girls come in to the game with a record of 10-3 on the season. 

The girls would have a back and forth battle in the first quarter. As the girls would find themselves tied with the Blue Blazers at the end of the first quarter, 8-8. The Ramblers were led by Maddie Smith who had four points in the first quarter. The Ramblers offense would struggle in the second quarter, as they would be held to two points. They would find themselves down at the half, 13-10. The only player to score in the second quarter was Reagan Woodall. 

To start the second half, the Rambler girls offense came out hot. They scored 16 point in the third quarter, while holding the Blue Blazer to zero points. This allowed the Ramblers to take a 26-13 lead into the final quarter. In the third quarter, the team was lead by Elle Day who had five points. In the fourth quarter, the offense stayed strong and continued to outscore the Blue Blazers, 11-5. The Ramblers were able to pull out a 37 - 18. Brooke Williams had four of her eight points in the fourth quarter. Grace Dawson also had eight points and Smith had a team high nine points. 

The win moves the JV girls to 11-3 on the season. The girls will take a week long break before they travel to Traverse City to face St. Francis. The game will tip off at 5:30, as part of a JV double header.
