7th Grade: Boyne City 28, Harbor Springs 11

From Coach Reinhardt: The 7th Grade Girls Basketball team went to Harbor Springs last night to take on the Rams. They got off to a low start and found themselves with only a 1 point lead heading into halftime. This changed very quickly as they came out at the half, firing on all cylinders, out scoring the Rams 16-2 in the 3rd. Our lady Ramblers ultimately put the Rams to bed with a 28-11 victory. It was a real team effort as the ladies played hard and pulled away in the 2nd half. Good win girls! Let’s keep this streak going!
Our girls head to TCSF Monday and then they’re back at home Wednesday against the Vikings from Grayling.

8th Grade: Boyne City 29, Harbor Springs 10

From Coach Morris: The 8th grade girls came up with another win yesterday afternoon, this time, in front of a crazy student section at Harbor Springs. The Ramblers played hard on both sides of the ball and had their best offensive performance of the season. Boyne was led in scoring by Mackensy Wilson and Gabby Dunlap- each putting in 6. Logan Crandall, Zollie Williams, and Delaney "Helga" Vollmer all added 4. Rounding out the scoring was Sawyer Cadarette with 3 and Danicka Jenkins with 2. The girls travel to Traverse City on Monday.
