7th Grade: Boyne City 27, Grayling 20

From Coach Reinhardt: Our 7th Grade Girls Basketball team played great team defense and took down the Vikings from Grayling. At the end of the 1st quarter they found themselves down by one. This wouldn’t last long as they outscored the Vikings 10-2 in the second quarter and then 8-0 in the third quarter. On offense they moved the ball around and 7 girls put the ball through the net. The game ended with a score of 27-20. Great job ladies!

8th Grade: Boyne City 24, Grayling 52

The 8th grade girls lost a tough game to Grayling last night: 52-24. The Ramblers are still trying to overcome the sickness that has taken over their team, but they played hard and never gave up. Boyne was led in scoring by Mackensy Wilson with 7 and Danika Jenkins with 6. Also scoring for the team was Bri Ager, Grace Kujawski, Kaira VanZee, and Delany Vollmer. The Ramblers look forward to a rematch against East Jordan on Monday.
