From Coach Place:

The Cross Country teams ran in the Lake Michigan Conference Championship meet on Saturday.  The girl's team finished 4th in the conference with Ava Maginity and Avery Stadt earning All-Conference honors.  Ava finished in 2nd place with a time of 19:55.  Avery finished 7th in a time of 21:15.  Also scoring for the running Ramblers were Jordan Noble 23rd (22:47), Lydia Frasz 26th (22:58), and Jaelyn Jarema 28th(23:10).  Rounding out our top 7 were Taylor Noble 34th (23:37) and Saylor Caverly 46th (24:38).  The team ran well over the challenging course including a sand hill, which caused slower times.  After our top 7 were Megan Harmeling 49th (24:54), Reagan May 54th (25:44), Rylie Woodall 55th (also 25:44), Madelyn Sobleski 55th (27:25), and Kari Day 69th (28:15)

The boy's team finished 6th in the conference.  Kolton Stadt led the team with his 21st place finish in a time of 18:23.  Will Maginity 29th (18:37), Gavin Carson 38th (19:06), Devon Hayden 44th (19:20), and Jeffery Kerr 47th (19:26)were are scorers with Tim Gutcher 64th (20:38) and Paxton Giem 86th (23:08) rounding out our top 7.  Mikey Olund finished 87th (23:21) and Kenny Krist 95th (30:47).

The team runs again on Saturday in the Northern Michigan Championship race in Gaylord.
