The middle school cross country team traveled to Harbor Springs to compete in the same meet as the Varsity team. The boys team started on 5 o'clock and the girls started at 5:30 on September 7,2020. 

The boys team was lead by Isaac Dione who finished sixth overall and in a time of 14:15. The second Boyne runner to cross the line was Wailand Smith who finished in 15:11 and in 13 place. He was followed closely behind by Mason Riccinto who came 16 in a time of 15:47. Finn Tosch would be the fourth Rambler to cross the line in 17 place and in 16:04. The rest of the Ramblers would finish the rest of the results as Wyatt Woodall would finish in 16:18 for 20 place. Then it would be Finn Parish (18:13, 21 place), Caleb Wormell ( 20:27, 22 place) , Henrey Slough (20:33, 23 place), Caleb Daniels (20:56, 24 place) and Jamus Schraw ( 20:56, 25 place). The boys would finish in second place with a score of 45 points, coming second to Harbor Springs. 

The girls cross country team was lead by Delany Little who finished third overall with a time of 14:27. Then it was Chelsey Hertel who finished in 15:28 and in 11 place. That was the start of a group of four Rambler runners as Sidney Bush ( 15:32, 12 place), Rayah Williams ( 15:35, 13 place), and Cambrynne Giem (15:53, 15 place) would come to the line together. The Ramblers would have another two runners crack the top 20, as Elle Wilson would finish 18 in 16:13 and Hailee Bertels would come 20 in 16:48. The rest of the Ramblers would come across the line like this:

"I though everyone put forth a great effort today. We had eight personal records today and quite a few people run their first two mile race in cross country. A lot of people ran close to or faster than times we saw this last weekend. We have been putting in some great work and excited to see what we can do with 10 days till our conference meet." - Coach Santina 

The teams will compete next at the Lake Michigan Conference Meet on Sept. 17 at Boyne Mountain.
