Girls Track

The Girl's Track team finished 5th in the Lake Michigan Conference Championship meet.  It was a great team effort with 5 new Personal Records, 2 Season Bests, and 8 All-Conference awards.

Grace Dawson and Keni Ciesielski finished 1-2 in the High Jump with new PR's and All-Conference honors.  Sydney Veryser won the Pole Vault with her Season Record and All-Conference honors.  Maddie Matthews finished 2nd in the Long Jump to earn All-Conference honors.  The 4x100 Relay team of Veryser, Dawson, Matthews, and Sam Burke finished 2nd to earn All-Conference honors.

Other girls setting new Personal Records were Melody Jarvis-Long Jump. Sam Burke-Shot Put, and Maddie Matthews-Shot Put.

The team competes at the Gaylord Meet of Champions on Tuesday.

Boys Track

The boys track team finished 4th in the Conference meet yesterday.

Brayton Ager finished 1st in the Discus, Jackson menard and Chas Stanek finished 1st and 4th respectively, Bobby Hoth took 6th in the Long Jump and 1st in the 100m Dash, the 3200m Relay team of Max Matthews, Will Maginity, Gavin Carson, and Joel Carter placed 5th, Jackson Menard was 2nd in the 110 Hurdles and 1st in the 300m Hurdles, the 800m Relay team of Kaden Jewett, Phillip Banner, Jackson Menard, and Bobby Hoth took 2nd place, and the same team beat TC St. Francis in the 400m Relay for 1st place. Kaden Jewett placed 4th in the 200m Dash, and the 1600m Relay team of Matthews, Maginity, Carson, and Carter placed 5th.

A very good showing and a number of excellent performances turned in by the team yesterday.
